What do you need:
- 2 tablespoons of finely ground coffee (per 1 cup of water)
- Fresh spring water (or bottled water if not available)
- large kettle or coffee pot
Pour the desired amount of water into your kettle and boil over a campfire. Remove from heat and let stand for 1 minute. Add ground coffee (2 tablespoons per 1 cup of water), stir and let stand for 2 minutes. Stir again and let stand for another 2 minutes. Pour in 1/2 cup of cold water before pouring the coffee into your mug.
Campfire Egg Coffee
What do you need:
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup pre-ground coffee (medium ground)
- 10 cups water (divided), plus 1 cup cold water
- Wide saucepan or coffee pot
Crack the egg into a bowl and reserve the eggshell. Beat the egg well. Shred the peel on a plate. Add the coffee, 1/4 cup water, and the crushed shell to the beaten egg and stir until well combined.
Bring about 9 cups of water to a boil in a pot/saucepan over a campfire. Add the egg mixture. Boil for 3 more min. Remove from heat, then pour in 1 cup of cold water. Let cool for 10 to 15 minutes before carefully pouring into cups.

What do you need:
- 1 packet of KUJU coffee pour over (per 1 to 1 1/2 cups of water)
- Water
Heat the desired amount of water over a campfire, stirring to just below boiling point. This coffee pack comes with its own filter. Open the package and take the filter out of the bag. Tear along the perforation of the filter and secure it to your cup or mug.
Carefully pour hot water over the ground coffee, letting the coffee drip into your cup. Repeat until you get 1 cup of brewed coffee.
