1) Confusion about R4 III – Update, R4 III SDHC and R4 SDHC.

These three cards are totally different from each other. Make no mistake about them.

2) “File name is too long, please shorten” appears when you insert the R4 SDHC update into.

While this is happening, you can back up all your files on your hard drive, format your SD card, and reinstall the firmware.

3) R4 SDHC Upgrade Revolution is not an official card, but one of those bad cloning cards.

4) Update R4 SDHC with latest R4i firmware.

R4 SDHC update may fail to create save file for assassins creed, restart dsi. So the screen is red. iii> Download and extract the “R4i English V1.11b” to TF card. Confirm that the following files exist in the root directory of the TF card

R4 — DAT file

In short, compared to other R4 series cards, R4 III SDHC, r4 iii upgrade, R4 SDHC and r4i gold, the R4 SDHC upgrade is not very good. It may be your second option. I highly recommend that you buy another series of R4 cards, such as the upgrade R4 III SDHC and r4 iii.
