There are a number of transport options near your canvas student accommodation. ECU Transit offers a comprehensive bus system with several routes that circulate around the main campus, as well as service to outlying areas like the health sciences campus and commuter park-and-ride lots. A point-to-point, Transit On-Demand van service also operates at night to ensure safe connections to evening routes when regular bus service ends.

You’ll be able to access UCL (Gower Street Campus) in just 20-minutes by public transport from your Southampton student accommodation, as well as London Metropolitan University and Kings College. You’ll also be just a short walk from Blackhorse Road tube station, meaning you can get to central London in a matter of minutes. There’s so much to see and do in the local area, too, with incredible shopping, amazing restaurants and bars, and award-winning parks for you and your flatmates to enjoy.

If you’re after some serious retail therapy you can head over to the West Quay shopping Southampton student accommodation and lose yourself for a few hours with hundreds of shops and cafes to choose from. There is a Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose too, so you are sure to find your favourites here. If you prefer a smaller independent shop there are still a few on the High Street (including a proper sweet shop and a newsagent that sells international newspapers).
