So you are the party president of your brotherhood. Are you trying to find the most epic ideas for the next mixer? The fraternity may call them “exchanges,” or it may simply be hosting homecoming events. I call them the most excellent experiences in college, and every fraternity should make an effort to have as many mixers as possible.

Here are three fraternity and sorority mixer suggestions that should definitely help make your next fraternity and sorority mixer a huge success:

Mixer around the world – You know those restaurants or beer packs sold in food markets where you can sample cans of beer from all over the world? Indeed, it is also possible to have such a party.

Includes drinks and favors that you will discover around the world. French wine, Kentucky whiskey, American beer (the best in the world), etc. And it doesn’t have to be just alcoholic sodas: Canada Dry, anyone?

Give your attendees a passport after they introduce themselves. Have stamps in every country you visit and fill out your passport. Your favorites can also be fun. It’s all about trying the fun. Definitely don’t label this mixer “Study Abroad”; it sends the wrong message. For some extra wackiness, have your guests dress up in multi-nation attire.

Graffiti Mixer – And so is the conclusion of the year, and you must have a great event. You should take this moment to celebrate the wonderful moment your fraternity had last year. Remember when we used to write in each other’s yearbook in high school? Well, now you’re in a frat, and the next best thing is a plain shirt and lots of markers. For a little extra excitement, use some black lights and glow-in-the-dark products like highlighters.

Opposites Attract Mixer – Sororities seem to have fun with this particular mixer idea, and your visitors will come in groups. Have friends or dates team up with each other and do the craziest opposites you’ve ever heard of. We’re not really talking about salt and pepper. What about Michael Vick and the Dog Whisperer? Or even summer and winter. The point is not to make sense… it’s to have absurd outfits. And remember that the more absurd royal costumes you have on usually means an amazing time.

As always, be sure to follow your fraternity’s risk management procedures during your fraternity mix. Don’t forget to continuously do your best during the blender. You need to make sure that your fraternity has the opportunity to mingle with the sorority in the future.
