Open your Bible to Ephesians 5:1 it says… Therefore be imitators of God as beloved children; Go ahead and highlight that writing.

When you listen to God’s Word, there is only one direction your life can go…UP! Hallelujah! Seeking God, reading his Word and enjoying his presence. You see, you want the kingdom of God to rule within your spirit. Your inner life with God is much more important than your outer life. You are always hungry for more of God! There is always something new and better to receive from his Word that will help you in life.

I am teaching you today, how to live with passion for Jesus and the ways of his kingdom. It is a joy to receive the Holy Spirit by preaching and teaching the Gospel of the kingdom. That’s how it is! You want his presence to be seen on you in public. There are millions of people who call themselves Christians, but they don’t reflect it in their lives. God wants you to be an imitator of Himself in the name of Jesus. How? You begin to fill your mind with the powerful Word of God. This is how you become pious.

Men and Women of God are supposed to act very differently from those of the world. The most powerful message about who you are comes from God! Yes! Jesus has printed his name on you! What what? You see, when you read and listen to the Word of God, you need to sit down and pay attention. You have the opportunity today to make a difference not only in your life but also in the lives of other people.

How? You can give a personal testimony of God’s love for you and you can give a testimony of the many wonderful things that God has done for people out of love. Jesus made us important because of his love for us. So how does a person become pious? You open yourself to the Truth of him. In a whole new way, we have a whole new level. What does that mean? It means that the Word of God will be a bright spotlight guiding your path every day.

God wants his people to be imitators of himself! You always agree with God and learn to live by his Word. You see, if you want to walk with God, you must agree with God. He wants his Word to become the biggest part of you. You embrace God and all that He is and all that He does for you.

Over and over, over and over in the Scriptures, God reminds us of His true nature. He is a Seeker in this world. What did you say? He is looking for relationships! God is the one who initiates a relationship with you. Almighty God wants to teach you and talk to you about how to live for Him. You can hear words from God that will dramatically change your life. He is in the scriptures!

Christians should search the Bible with a hunger to know as much as possible about the Lord and his purposes and ways. Why? Be imitators of God! By faithfully walking with God and regularly obeying what He tells you. This is how you become pious. This is how you become a follower of God. Now, raise your hands and say, I am a child, I am a friend, I am a follower of God!
