The Powerball jackpot has increased to an estimated $575 million for Wednesday’s drawing. The jackpot is worth an estimated $409.3 million in a lump sum payout. However, the odds of winning all that money are low. In fact, the odds of winning the jackpot are one in 292.2 million. In general, the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are about one in 24.9 million. The Powerball drawings are held every three days, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m. Eastern.
