I proved the teachers wrong

One of the things that I have found throughout my life is that challenges have been things that have propelled me to greater success. I was someone who was told in school that I would not achieve much, but I did not listen to the bad advice of those negative teachers and I became the author of many books. The fact is that I didn’t even do well in my English exams, however I showed that the mind is more powerful than we think. For someone who was told they wouldn’t pass any exams in high school, I’ve shown that a burning, passionate desire can be more effective than some of the things taught in school. In fact, Napoleon Hill in his book Think and Grow Rich confirms this. He discovered that all the people who had become millionaires and successful in life had a burning and passionate desire to achieve their desires.

One of the greatest gifts you received at birth was the power to think and use your own mind. This freebie can easily be taken for granted and you could end up missing out on the real benefits. In fact, your ability to think is arguably one of the best things you have access to. It could be said that the ability to create with thought is so important that it could be overlooked. The power to think, organized thought could be a skill worth mastering. There are many great inventors who have created many amazing things because they have learned to master control of their thoughts. So something as simple as thinking could be the best thing you should be thankful for.

You could say that looking for good things takes a lot of time and effort, in fact, some of the greatest things in life could be said to take the most effort and time. It could be said that the inner world of your mind may contain some of the greatest treasures worth seeking out. Many people may put an emphasis on gaining material wealth over the course of their lives, but they could be missing out on something that is very important. Could the greatest treasures you possess lie deep within the reserves of your own mind?

In fact, your mind could contain many of the clues you’re looking for in the outside world. But the journey to harness this vast resource could require the most mental effort. It may be that most people are not prepared to exert the mental effort required to reach the greatest heights of the mind. But like all things in life, great things, and finding great things, require constant effort, and some of the best things in life require determination, time, and effort.
